McCormack Partners is looking to recruit a project designer/ rainscreen designer for a cladding and facades firm based out of Glasgow. This role would see you work with a UK wide industry leader in rainscreen cladding. All the information on the position is below.

**Qualifications / Experience**:

- Computer literate and proficient in AutoCAD. Experience with Revit would be advantageous but is not essential.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
- Experience with a range of rainscreen cladding systems including fibre cement and aluminium cladding systems. Additional experience with curtain walling systems and/or glazing would be advantageous.
- Minimum 5years experience within Cladding Sector.
- Full Clean Driving Licence.
- Must understand U-Valve Calculations.
- Must have Rainscreen Cladding/façade design experience.
- 2 years minimum experience in cladding design.
- 2 years minimum experience using CAD/AutoCAD.
- Sound knowledge of rainscreen systems. Must understand how the rainscreen goes together and how a bracket and inaudible systems go together.

**Main Purpose of the role**:

- Responsible for providing a professional and efficient service including all necessary drawing, scheduling, and site visits.
- Take ownership and responsibility for the design requirements associated with the role, with the support of the SCF Team.
- Effectively manage project costs, specifically design associated elements including materials and sub-contract resources from commencement to completion within project constraints.
- Provide effective liaison with Contracts and Commercial Departments as required.
