A hotel based near Thatcham, West Berkshire is seeking a Hotel Receptionist / Event Coordinator to join their team.

Previous hotel experience required and arranging events. This job will be working 3 days as an event coordinator and 2 days working as a Hotel Receptionist.

**Hotel Receptionist**

The Hotel receptionist will welcome guests and take care of them from their arrival through to departure. Contribute to guests’ permanent satisfaction by providing high quality service throughout their stay.

Main responsibilities
- Welcome guests as soon as they arrive with due care and attention.
- Encourage customer loyalty by developing friendly, personalised relationships.
- Anticipate guests’ needs and take them into consideration.
- Handle any guest complaints.

**As Event Coordinator**

As Wedding & Event Coordinator you will need to work well under pressure with an accurate and consistent approach to customer service. Excellent communication skills is required for this job and confidence to liaise via telephone and in person.

Ensure all sales enquires are dealt with in a proactive manner.

2. Ensure that the weddings, meeting and events database and chase system is updated.

3. Grow and develop existing customers through regular contact.

4. Being dedicated to bring events to life and turning dreams into reality.

5. Identify opportunities to maximise revenue through up-selling.

**Salary**: £10.00-£12.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
