Audio Typist

**Audio Typist (Casual Contract)**

We are looking for an experienced audio typist who is looking for an additional income on a casual basis. The work will be offered on a ‘Bank Worker’ contract, meaning there are no guaranteed hours each week. We expect the level of work to fluctuate from week to week, averaging approximately 5-7 hours.

The work will involve typing up records of discussions, which will include employment-related meetings such as investigations, disciplinary, and grievance meetings, but could expand to general meeting notes. The role will predominantly support our People Services Team. Ideally, you will have past experience working as a PA or in a pure Audio Typing role.

You will ideally be able to type of the records of the meetings within 24-48 hours to enable us to move forward with our internal processes, so you will need to be able to be flexible with your hours. You don’t have to be available all the time, and are able to decline work occasionally if you are on away or busy - however we ideally need someone who can be as flexible as possible.

The rate of pay for the work is £12.20 per hour, with an additional 12.07% for holiday pay added (totalling £13.65 per hour) each time you perform work. Payment will be made one month in arrears. You will be provided with the required IT equipment to use when undertaking the work, which will be done from home.
