**About the role
**As an Apprentice Service Warranty Assistant, you will be responsible for:
- Provide Workshop and Warranty administration to the Porsche Centre, ensuring that claims are entered onto the system and submitted
- Check the warranty account for outstanding debt and ensure that the account is clear of debt over 60 days by submitting the self-billing invoice on a daily basis to PRG accounts
- Reviewing the Service Technician ‘write up’ to ensure there is adequate information for submission of the claim
- Sharing warranty information with technicians on latest technical bulletins to assist with repairs
- Ensure diagnostic sheets completed in job packs and communicating any missing documentation prior to submitting the warranty claim
- Being responsible for invoicing all warranty repairs and providing completed job packs to the Service Advisors
- Process and return parts from the Centre to PCGB when requested, obtaining feedback and action
- Ensure full compliance to manufacturer’s policy regarding recall campaigns making sure all relevant staff are aware
- Keep updated with the FCA Compliance requirements of the business, working within the Insurance Code of Business guidelines
- Keep technical knowledge up to date to understand the customer needs and requirements. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading manufacturers' publications
**About the responsibilities:
**In the role of Apprentice Service Warranty Assistant, you will provide occasional assistance to the Service Team by:
- Determining services needed by reviewing service history and referencing manufacturer service intervals
- Advising customers of potential work required, providing a quotation and documenting on the service booking
- Pre-allocating work booked to Service Advisor/Executive
- Planning and advising customer of vehicle drop off times
- Checking for outstanding Warranty campaigns
- Loading the Workshop diary
- Following up with customer enquiries that have not ‘booked in’
- Prepare service and repair estimates
- Accurately keeping records and files updated
- You will be required to have 100% attendance at college, with the desire and ability to achieve and pass the standards and tests required to successfully complete NVQ Level 3 as part of the Porsche Apprenticeship Scheme
**About the hours & rewards
**For the role of Apprentice Service Warranty Assistant, the hours of work are 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.
There is a basic salary on offer of £17,500 per annum. You will also receive a fantastic benefits package, including:
