**About you**
- Have a strong implicit understanding of town centre regeneration and placemaking issues, principles and practice in a local government context.
- Have substantial experience working effectively with senior elected members and strategic partners in a political environment to deliver place-based outcomes.
- Have track record of managing significant budgets (capital and revenue).
- Be committed to bringing out the best in and motivating your team, developing talent and challenging poor performance.
- Be able to build broad and effective partnerships that include community, public sector, developer, and supplier representatives to drive lasting and positive change at pace.
