**Overseas Coordinator**
**Manchester**
**£30-35K per annum**

My client is seeking an experienced Overseas Coordinator to join their team in Manchester. Reporting to the Development Director you will be responsible for helping to manage, maintain and develop the clients expanding overseas partner network. You will:

- Act as a conduit between our overseas partners and all the logistics departments to achieve the maximum partner satisfaction.
- Help to onboard new business by overseeing SOP implementation, monitor and feedback to the business.
- Help to maintain and improve the companies freight procurement to a high level, to be accessible to the whole company.
- Work closely with colleagues in other departments to understand the business needs and offer advice and direction when required.
- Build effective working relationships with our overseas partners and assist in key route / product development as mandated by the company.
- Provide partners with accurate and competitive quotations in writing with follow up.
- Effectively supervise key partners / trade routes to ensure partner satisfaction and delivery of agreed service levels that further the company objectives.
- Provide a high level of internal and external customer service.
- Provide full details to operations colleagues on won business to enable them to take ownership.
- Deal with any issues that may arise and ensure the partners and internal stakeholders are kept fully updated.
- Meet with Line Manager & other internal stakeholders to ensure KPI’s / Quotes are resulted accordingly.
- Provide regular management reports internally and externally.
- Keep our internal systems updated.
- Have at least three years Freight Forwarding experience, including quoting, either in Air or Ocean and willingness to learn both.
- Have excellent customer service skills.
- Have strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence others both internally and externally.
- Have strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Be a self-starter who takes the initiative.
- Thrive in a fast-moving environment and enjoys new challenges.
- Have excellent computer skills, especially using Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ideally have a knowledge of Cargowise

This is an office-based role.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm 31 days holiday which Increases after 3 years of service, volunteer day, heath cash plan, paid sick leave, EAP programme and long service financial rewards
