Mobile Plant Fitter

**The Knight Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Mobile Plant/Mechanic Fitter to join our team in Kelvedon, Essex.**

**(You will be based at our own yard in Kelvedon, but you will be required to travel to our projects as and when needed)**
- It is essential that any Plant Fitters that are interested in this role will have experience diagnosing and repairing Plant & Machinery (360 Excavators, Dumpers, Rollers etc) _

**Duties to include**:

- Routine maintenance and servicing of our fleet of mechanical plant including excavators, dumpers, telehandlers, rollers and compressors around Essex and Home Counties.
- Repairs as necessary to ensure hire equipment is fit for purpose.
- Fault Finding and inspections.
- Repairing and servicing our Small Tools including Disc Cutters, Whacker Plates and generators.

**Requirements**:

- Experience of maintaining/servicing construction mechanical plant.
- Knowledge of small tools.
- Knowledge and Skills in: Hydraulics, Electronic Systems, Electrical Systems, Welding, Grinding and Gas Cutting.
- CSCS Card desirable.
- A professionally recognised qualification in Plant maintenance and repair (NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent)
- Full UK Driving License.

**Closing Date**: Immediate Start Available.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year

- 10 hour shift
- Day shift
