We are Ada, the National College for Digital Skills, a high performing technical college with the mission of educating and empowering the next generation of diverse digital talent.

We work with a fantastic roster of partners such as King, IBM, Deloitte, Salesforce and Bank of America and offer an innovative, supportive 6th form experience for our 150+ students that prepares them to be digital pioneers achieving both academic success and, more importantly, setting them up for successful careers in tech. We are passionate about harnessing tech as a tool for social mobility and improving diversity of opportunity and therefore, with the support of our partners, place a major focus on diversity recruitment. At present over 50% of our students come from low income backgrounds, more than 50% are from Black, Asian or Mixed backgrounds and 23% are young women. We are the top performing 6th form for computer science in the country with >90% of our students going on aspirational digital degree apprenticeships, tech related degree courses or straight into junior technical roles.

This is an exciting time to join Ada with our new state-of-the-art campus confirmed just a few minutes walk from Victoria station. The new campus provides us with the capacity to significantly increase our student volumes and meet our ambitious target of transforming 10,000 lives by the end of 2030 while ensuring that we achieve our mission to make the tech sector more representative targeting 50% of learners to be female, 50% to be from ethnic minority backgrounds and 50% to be from low income backgrounds.

**What’s your mission**:

- We are searching for an Outreach Officer to join our dynamic team delivering an exciting range of outreach and recruitment activities driving the recruitment of diverse digital talent into our Sixth Form and Apprenticeship programmes:

- Actively contribute to growth and diversity targets for Sixth Form and Apprenticeship programme recruitment
- Deliver a broad Outreach Programme to engage prospective learners and grow Ada’s profile amongst our target audiences
- Provide administrative support for Outreach and Admissions projects
- Be a brand ambassador for Ada ensuring school partners and prospective learners are aware of and understand our strengths and values.
**Key responsibilities of this role include**:

- Deliver outreach activities in schools and colleges including regular workshops, presentations and activities and working with careers advisors and other key stakeholders
Organise events including but not limited to; Open Days, School visits to Ada
- Create and maintain reports and dashboards which measure data against key performance indicators. Provide and analyse outreach data for planning, presenting to internal/external audiences and for reports, bids etc
- Give prospective parents/students, apprentices and school groups tailored campus tours
- Support the Outreach Manager in maintaining the College Admissions web pages and social media accounts
- Work with Ada’s Marketing Manager and Outreach Manager in updating the College Prospectus, developing new social media content and related hard copy literature
- Promoting and championing Ada to relevant wider stakeholders - e.g. Schools, other Colleges, Parents, Local Authorities, etc.

- You have experience of using a CRM system (Dynamics 365 desirable).
- You have experience working in an outreach, admissions or customer services management role.
- You have excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of audiences.
