Total Staff Services are currently recruiting for one of our clients based in Birkenhead. This role is a permanent position as a Sales Assistant based within the branch, you will be working full time hours Monday to Friday (42.5 hours) as well as working 1 in 3 Saturdays however weekend shifts will be paid at an overtime rate.

Your role will be customer facing as well as office based. You will be working for one of the UK’s leading electrical wholesaler who are offering an excellent basic salary as well as a benefits package. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate hard work and determination, this is also a great position for someone who would like to progress within their career.

Salary of £25,000 per year.

**Duties will Include**:

- Serving customers face to face over the trade counter.
- Picking customer orders from within the warehouse.
- Booking in deliveries as well as putting goods away while ensuring the branch is kept tidy.
- Some driving duties where necessary, this will be delivering small/large packages to both business and home addresses.
- Working as part of a close team to ensure the branch runs as efficiently and as effectively as possible.

**Essential**:

- Hard working and ambitious.
- You must be a self-starter.
- Excellent communication and customer care skills.
- Team player as well as independent.
- High standard for both presentation and organisation.
- A valid UK driving license.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From £25,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
