Jenson Fisher is delighted to be once again working with our well-established client to recruit a Purchasing Administrator on a permanent, full-time basis. It is great opportunity to join the exciting business going through a key period of growth. Communicating into the Senior Management Team, the Purchasing Administrator will ideally have experience working within a similar role and as a result will have an excellent grasp of the procurement process.
Not only you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of various worldwide shipments, you will also ensure all goods are delivered on time. You will be working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
On a day to day basis, as the Purchasing Administrator, your responsibilities will include:
- Creating and checking Order forms before sending.
- Ensuring all Databases are kept up to date.
- Ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly, accurately and on time.
- Obtaining Proof of Delivery when required and forwarding on accordingly.
- Determining commodity code and preparing specs for adding or uploading onto the system.
- Adding order details onto the relevant systems.
- Trucking and pursuing order confirmations and invoices.
- Working closely with the accounts department, authorising and checking invoices.
- Updating on any delays to the relevant managers and / or customers.
- Keeping up to date of any goods received.
- Use of multiple order processing systems.
