**Gallery Assistant**

Gallery Pangolin is a world - class sculpture gallery with a renowned reputation for works of quality and excellence by modern and contemporary artists.

**Role Description**

The role involves administrative as well as practical aspects of the gallery calendar of activities. It includes welcoming and informing clients and gallery visitors. Participating in the planning, private viewing, invigilation and dismantling of shows and curated exhibitions.

**Additional Information: -**
- Full time.
- 10am to 6pm and 3hrs every 3rd Saturday 10am to 1pm in exhibition time.
- Starting salary 27.5k per annum (35 hour week)
- previous experience - essential client-facing and sales background.
- An interest, qualification or background in the arts is essential.
- extensive knowledge in populating websites, social media and mailchimp platform.
- proficient in InDesign, Microsoft office and all aspects of general admin.
- confident and able to work as part of a small team and alone.
- a good all-rounder with a can-do attitude and able to think outside the box and turn a hand to anything practical.
- Clean driving licence

Personable, well presented, adaptable, a professional and welcoming manner, calm approach, proactive, good judgment, good listening skills, fast thinker, methodical, able to work under pressure, excellent planning/organisational skills, confident and effective communicator, computer Literate, flexibility, team player.

**Salary**: From £27,500.00 per year
