Dishwash Operative

**Role: General Operative, Dishwash Area**
**Shifts: Rotational basis, need to be flexible to work shifts between 0600-2200 8 hours per shift**

The Best Connection are working in partnership with Newrest, who are looking for multiple General Operatives to work in the Dishwash Department to help them in their busy operation.

**Positions starting from March 2024**

**Pay rate**:£11.46

**Shifts**: 4 on 2 off, 2 earlies and 2 lates, followed by 2 rest days.

Shift timings will be: Earlies 6.00 am to 2.30 pm, Lates 2.30 pm to 11.00pm.

**Your duties will be**:

- To dispose of all waste in the appropriate equipment provided.
- Load catering equipment into the machine as per training.
- Ensure wash machine is running to temperature.
- Make sure the machine is dosing chemicals as per guidelines.
- After washing check equipment for damage and cleanliness.
- Record, report breakages i.e. china, glass.
- Ensure supplier demands are met on equipment requirements.
- Clean airline equipment as per customer requirements.
- Adhere to clean as you go standard.
- Adhere to in-flight services security compliance.

**Requirements**for Dishwash**:

- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
- Team player
- Able to and willing to be on your feet for the majority of your shift

**Please note**:Due to the nature of our business, we are regulated by the CAA (Civil Aviation Authority), therefore it is compulsory for all applicants to provide or be willing to obtain the following**:

- Have a full 5-year checkable history (Obtained for you by us)
- Have an in date and valid Photo ID (Passport, Driving Licence, ID Card etc)
- Be able to provide a full 5-year address history
- Be willing to attend an Aviation Security Course (Paid for by us)

- Hourly rate as above (not age dependent)
