**Job Title: Classroom Assistant**

**Location**: Rhondda Cynon Taff (Treorchy to Taffs Well and Everywhere in Between)

**Position Type**: Full-time or Part-time (Flexible)

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday, Flexible Hours (08.30-15.30)

**Role Overview**:
As a Classroom Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the teaching staff and enhancing the learning experience for our students. You will work collaboratively with teachers to assist in classroom activities, provide personalized support to students, and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere within the school.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Support teachers in delivering engaging lesson plans and educational activities.
- Provide individualized assistance to students with varying learning needs.
- Assist in maintaining classroom discipline and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Help organize and prepare teaching materials and resources.
- Collaborate with teachers to assess student progress and provide feedback.
- Participate in extracurricular activities and school events as required.

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working in an educational environment preferred but not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine interest in working with children.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible and adaptable approach to work.
