- Controllers form the backbone of the Water and Wastewater Services we provide to our communities, you will provide a high level of alarm management & control, analysing the information from the Control systems, working with the schedulers on staff call out & coordination to deliver a prompt response to alarms and alerts, as well as having to provide accurate, timely and concise information in accordance with company standards and statutory requirements to Southern Water, Service Providers, Contractors and other Stakeholders.You will be part of an office-based control team who work tirelessly 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year. As a Waste controller, you will be responsible for controlling our waste Water operations across the Southern Water Operational Area, working alongside the Shift Controller during peak times, situated within the control / incident management centre for Southern Water, maintaining a professional and high level of incident management, safe compliance around public health, company reputation and financial delivery.- Does this opportunity excite you but you’re not 100% sure if you meet all the requirements for the role?
