The job responsibilities of a Nursery Manager may include:
Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practice guidelines.

Managing staff, including recruitment, training, and development of the team, and conducting staff appraisals.

Ensuring that the nursery environment is safe and secure, including carrying out risk assessments and implementing appropriate health and safety measures.

Promoting positive relationships with parents and carers, and providing a high level of customer service.

Maintaining accurate records of children's attendance, progress, and development, and communicating this information to parents and carers.

Managing the nursery's budget, ensuring that resources are used effectively and efficiently.

Marketing the nursery to attract new families and maintain occupancy levels.

Liaising with external agencies and professionals such as local authorities, healthcare professionals, and other childcare providers.

Keeping up-to-date with current legislation, policies, and procedures relating to child care and education.

Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of the provision and making improvements where necessary

The job responsibilities of a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner may include:
Planning and implementing a range of activities that promote physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of children.

Ensuring that the nursery environment is safe and conducive to learning, including checking that all equipment and toys are clean and in good condition.

Providing a high standard of care, including meeting children's personal care needs such as feeding, changing nappies, and administering medication.

Working closely with parents and carers to develop a strong partnership to support children's learning and development.

Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development, and communicating this information to parents and carers.

Keeping up-to-date with current legislation, policies, and procedures relating to child care and education.

Working as part of a team of childcare professionals, including participating in staff meetings and training sessions.

Supporting the nursery management team in implementing policies and procedures.

Providing a positive role model to other staff and promoting a positive and inclusive environment for all children.

Continuously evaluating the effectiveness of the provision and making improvements where necessary.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Volunteer
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: From £11.50 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Wolverhampton, WV3 9JR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- level 3 nursery practioner: 1 year (preferred)
- childcare: 1 year (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 100% (preferred)
