**Trade Counter Assistant /Delivery Driver**

**Based Flitwick**

**A valid and clean UK driving licence will be essential as delivery work will be required**

**Some flexibility will be required as the role will involve occasional Saturday morning working**

Previous experience and/or plumbing knowledge would be advantageous but more importantly, a willingness to learn and enthusiasm is a must. A recognition of the need for the product to be delivered safely whilst maximizing customer satisfaction and maintaininghigh standards of professionalism at all times is essential.

Duties will include:

- Assisting both trade customers and the general public with all general queries both customer facing and by telephone
- Supporting with customer deliveries as required
- Stock replenishment
- Cash handling and use of the till
- Producing invoices on accountancy software (training will be given)
- To advise on plumbing as experience develops
- Loading and unloading deliveries involving heavy lifting
- Plan delivery routes and carry out safety checks on delivery vehicles
- Deliver a wide range of items to different addreses
- Follow Department of Transport regulations and safety standards
- Keeping storage units tidy and organised
