- Location: Loughborough (LE11)
- Hours of work: Monday to Friday, flexible hours between 9am and 5pm (4pm finish on a Friday)
- Job type: Immediate start. Temporary with possible opportunity of a permanent role
- Start Date: As soon as possible
- GI Group has an opportunity for you to join a global scientific company as a Customer Service Specialist.**Responsibilities**:
- Receive and action allocated customer requests
- Collaborate with suppliers and other functions to ensure accurate and timely implementation of product additions
- Work with suppliers to ensure price, product quality and service requirements are met, Work with customers to ensure the correct information is provided
- Adhere to all documented governance and standard operating procedures
- Ensure that departmental targets for turn-around times and delivery performances are met.
- Openly communicate and collaborate with internal and external customers regarding requests, issue resolution and data integrity
- Drive internal process improvement
- Actively participate on Governance activities and ensure the use of Governance when appropriated.

**Requirements**:
- Proven Customer Service experience
- Excellent English - written and oral due to level of communication with suppliers
- Being highly driven is key Transparency and honesty
- Must be computer literate
- Possess excellent communication
- Be resilient and empathetic
- Must have a strong work ethic, flexible and happy to work hard on their own initiative
- Possess good people skills that are helpful and friendly
- Strong technical skills, including proficient knowledge of Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel and Cognos**Office & Commercial**:
