This is the role for you
- **Location**: Worthing, West Sussex
- **Hours**: 15-19 hours (3 or 4 days a week)
- **Payrate**:£11.39 per hour, plus mileage of 45p per mile

**What is the role?**

The Home Help team play a crucial role in providing high-quality domestic assistance and practical support for clients in their own homes. Reporting to the Home Care Manager, you will ensure safe working practices, respecting clients' privacy, personal choice, and dignity.

You will be responsible for:

- Providing domestic assistance, including cleaning, floor surfaces, hygiene areas, and interior windows.
- Encouraging clients to undertake some of their cleaning if possible.
- Washing and ironing clothing, changing bed linen, and making beds.
- Purchasing shopping for the client.
- Carrying out simple financial transactions for the client.
- Reporting any changes, improvements, or problems to the Home Care Manager.

**What kind of person are we looking for?**
- Able to provide a high standard of domestic help and customer service.
- Pays attention to small details and understands their importance to clients.
- Possesses an appropriate interpersonal style with clients, relatives, and colleagues.
- Knowledge of Health and Safety and the ability to follow correct procedures.
- Experience of working with older people or demonstrates awareness of Dementia.
