Receptionist duties and responsibilities
- Have a great telephone manner answering enquires from new and existing clients including booking appointments and directing them to the appropriate individual.
- Ability to answer E-mail enquiries and appointment requests
- Ideally have experience utilising a Practice management system, we use RX Works. Training will be provided.
- Be confident greeting and booking in arriving clients and their pets
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth running of the practice.
- Ensure reception/front of house is clean and organised
- Be confident taking payments (Card and Cash)
- Ensure new clients are uploaded to the system accurately and efficiently
- Be confident in using IT systems - Computer and Telephone system
- Compassionate
- Personable - Telephone manner
- Attention to detail - Data Entry
- Team player - happy to assist other departments when the need arises
- Strong Communicator - Both verbal and written
**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 15 - 25 per week
