As a consequence of a large Renewables project at our busy Port of Dundee, we are looking for Port Operators to join us working on a 12 months fixed term contract basis.

**About the role**
You will mainly be involved in operating plant to help load and discharge ships along with other tasks associated with cargo handling, warehousing and distribution. A significant amount of your day will be spent driving heavy plant such as fork lift trucks and tugs.
Our working environment comprises warehouses, quaysides or the hold of a ship. The ability to work at height is essential. You will work a variety of shifts to suit the operational needs of the business and weekend working, with regular overtime, will also be a feature of the role.
Highly motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking, you should also be an effective team member. As travel to our other Ports within the Forth Ports group is required then you must have a current driving licence. An awareness of the importance of health and safety is essential along with having good numeracy and basic IT skills.

- Valid fork lift truck licence.
- Banksman/slinger experience.
- Current driving licence.
- Flexible approach to working hours and experience of working shifts.
