Wood Finisher

We are looking for a Skilled Wood Finisher to work for a 50 plus years established company in Dorset.

These positions will become permanent following a successful 12 week probationary period and are an immediate start for the successful applicant.

Salary is competitive within the current market also with regular weekly overtime available at x1.5

Hours are 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday to Friday. (40 hours per week)

For Overtime you can start at 6am and also work Saturday mornings.

**JOB PURPOSE**:
The company Manufacture kitchen & bathroom furniture for the retail industries. Any experience in wood finishing and wood preparation would be desirable but experience in Marine finishing would be very beneficial.

**Skills**:

- Full use of tools to include: Electric buffers, Orbital and extractions unit, Electric drills,
- Use of fillers to correct shape prior to gelling
- Understanding of Wood (or GRP) finishing
- Ideally more than 2 years experience within the Carpentry or Marine industry
