The Met Intelligence department has a range of skills covering the vast area of support this department provides to the Met. As an ANPR Administrator supporting the Accounts management team, you will ensure requests for administration of accounts are actioned and managed in an efficient manner.

The purpose of the role is to support the provision of operational policing through the administration support of ANPR systems and Investigations. The ANPR Administrators role provides support primarily to the Accounts management function but also across Ops Development and Investigations.

This is achieved through proactively monitoring and addressing account management tasks, completing daily tasks assigned by the Ops Dev and Compliance Supervisor as well as supporting the wider ANPR teams as required.

This role will support the Innovation Deployment and Compliance Team within MO2 ANPR to ensure core administration tasks are completed in a timely manner. Undertaking daily duties to support management of ANR accounts across all systems as well as supporting, investigations, innovative projects and improvement programmes.

The role holder will provide support and assistance to all departments within the MPS and External partners.

The role holder will also assist on project work assisting with the long-term implementation of developed processes, enhancing performance and management support.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide daily Administration of Account Management tasks across all systems.
- Support Operations Development activities for pro-active operations.
- Support research and development activities within the ANPR Team.
- Provide support to the investigations team.
- Provide fast / live time intelligence support to operational teams
- Action requests for live research, information confirmation, collation and dissemination

**Vetting**

This post requires access to the most sensitive intelligence material on a daily basis. Applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (enhanced) (SC(e)) level before taking up the post; with a willingness to undergo Developed Vetting (DV) once in post, if required.

**Essential Criteria**
- Excellent skills in use of Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage tasks
- Previous experience of utilizing different types of computer software packages
- Ability to maintain the highest levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality
- Experience of working in a busy office environment.

**Desired Criteria**
- Experience of ANPR and working with ANPR data.
- Experience working within a law enforcement and intelligence environment.
- Experience and knowledge of working as a researcher.
- Some experience or knowledge of Auditing

**Skills**
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing, producing comprehensive, structured reports
- Ability to communication orally
- Competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel
- Have previous computer research experience, or able to demonstrate the ability to acquire the necessary skills to interrogate computer systems and databases in use throughout the force
- Experience in the evaluation, collation and analysis of information

- Ability to work in partnership with other agencies, forces and business groups
