A U.S. international law firm is looking for a M&A corporate lawyer to join their team in London.

This international firm has a long-standing and strong presence in London, recognised as one of the most innovative law firms by the financial times, and is highly regarded for their forward thinking approach, enthusiasm for collaborating across disciplinesand their authoritative commercial awareness. The firm has a particular focus on technology and media, energy, financial services, and real estate and construction sectors. Their clients are UK headquartered corporates and institutions, as well as internationalclients.

The firm's corporate team are regarded as one of the best in the world, achieving top rankings from Chambers & Partners and the LEGAL 500. The team advises companies on a global scale and at every stage cycle stage. The London Corporate team consists of 30+lawyers, and act for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 50 companies and governments on a broad range of issues, including M&A, corporate finance, joint ventures, IPOSs, private equity, venture capital, fund formation, investment management, issues ofcompliance and corporate governance, investigations and asset recovery, and sports law.
- Be a UK qualified lawyer with 4+ years PQE.
- Have 4-5 years post-qualification experience from a magic circle, silver circle, US or regional law firm.
- Have experience working on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions.
- Have strong academic qualifications.
- Be ambitious, with a genuine commitment to develop their professional and legal skills and the profile of the team.
- Be articulate and confident to deliver at the highest standard within a team of highly competent associates at the top of their game.
- Be able to fit in well within a friendly and collegiate team.
