An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic and motivated Band 3 Clinical Trials Assistants to join us in Research & Innovation (R&I) at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. We are looking for dynamic and motivated individuals who will help to support the delivery of a high quality service that enhances patients safety and experience whilst participating in clinical research.

The role involves working closely with the clinical trials research nurses and research teams in various specialties to provide a high quality research service. General trial administration, recruiting patients and coordinating trial-specific information in accordance with current Governance and Regulatory requirements are key aspects of the post.

Post holders must be numerate and literate, with good keyboard skills and a working knowledge of computer software packages. They should be enthusiastic, able to demonstrate attention to detail, possess good communication and team working skills, and have the ability to work unsupervised.

Previous experience of clinical trial work, including training in ICH/GCP is desirable but not essential.

The exact dimensions of the numbers and types of studies may vary in accordance with the dynamic nature of the research programme and specialist clinical area. We have vacancies across several specialties including oncology, paediatrics, haematology and central research and innovation
