Embroidery Machinist

BMC - Black Mountain Clothing is a small business in Ross-on-Wye, HR9 7AP. We are professional, supportive, fast-paced and our goal is to provide high quality branded clothing.

The successful Machinist will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of machinery, as well as the fabrication of new components. The Machinist is also responsible for ensuring that all shop equipment is in working order, and is often called upon to make adjustments or repairs during operational hours. We're looking for a skilled professional who can multitask and take initiative, but also has excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.

**Responsibilities**:

- Mill, fit and finish products.
- Fully utilise a variety of machine tools to produce parts to accuracy within 0.0001".
- Use a variety of machines such as mills and lathes.
- Plan the work, set up and control the work in the machine shop.
- Calculate the load on each machine element.
- Control the specified quality of parts produced.
- Maintain safe working environments and practices.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 16 per week

**Salary**: From £12.00 per hour
