- HOLMES (Home Office Large Major Enquiry System) is a computerised information system used by UK Police forces for the investigation of incidents and major crime.
- West Yorkshire Police is seeking to recruit a HOLMES Indexer to work within Protective Services, Crime. Utilising the HOLMES system, the role will primarily support the investigation of serious crime to assist in managing information, documentation, evidence, and enquiries. As an integrated part of the Homicide & Major Enquiry Team (HMET), the role will also involve performing the functions and duties required of a ‘Casualty Bureau’ in the event of major incident.-
