The ideal person for this role will have a construction Project Engineer/ Installations or Site Management background. They will have an excellent ability to build and maintain relationships with customers as well as problem solving issues. They will havehands on man-management skills with the ability to train installers and be I.T. literate and able to produce reports throughout various projects.

This role is remote working. You will require to attend the office in Cardiff for your induction and training but will then work from home. You will need to be happy to travel throughout the UK, there will be infrequent overseas travel.

**Project Installation Engineer Benefits**:

**Project Installation Engineer Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Assist in the correct Specification and Installation of Products working with the External Sales Team
- Ensure delivery of best practice with respect to the Design and Installation of Products via onsite installation training with customers
- Responsible for all installation training (onsite/client premises/Cardiff)
- Reduce potential complaints/claims by early Proactive project intervention
- Manage customer complaint and claims management
- Final Inspection Reports for Warranty purposes
- Provide feedback into the business from customers and site with respect to improvements additions and developments
- Direct the development, installation and sign off (where appropriate) of projects
- Assist the Technical team in installation of testing rigs when required
- Assist the commercial/sales function with project support
- Conduct contractor-based meetings
- NPD/product enhancement project work - Production of development ideas (through site/customer feedback)
- Report on all issues relating to site practice including handling, lifting devices and CDM/Health and Safety

**Project Installation Engineer Essential Experience/Qualifications**:

- Happy to travel throughout the UK as well as infrequent overseas travel mainly to Europe if necessary.
- Experience within a Project Engineering/ Installation Engineering or Site Management role with construction/ building or panelling knowledge
- Hands-on experience of installations
- Man-management experience
- Experience of managing project including direct liaison with customers on site
- Ability to produce reports on performance, project development, site safety and productivity
- Good computer literacy and numeracy i.e. Word, Excel, Power Point etc.
