We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner to join our team. This is a permanent, part
- time position working (25 hours) hours per week from (9:30) to (14:30) Monday to Friday.

Salary Circa. (12,393.37)

Location (Plymouth)

**The role**:

- Clean designated areas within the Halls of Residence including bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens and all white goods contained in the kitchens.
- Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets, sweep and polish floors and clean stairs.
- Wash walls, doors, furniture, radiators, lampshades as appropriate.
- Empty waste bins and remove rubbish from flats to bin store areas.
- During the conference season only: Make beds, including stripping and changing sheeting collection of laundered linen from store, bag and pack laundry for collection
- Clean internal and external windows, where applicable.
- Move free standing furniture as required.
- Clean and wash glasses, cutlery and cooking utensils, as appropriate.
- Some level of flexibility (with advance notice) is required, especially during the main student arrival and departure weekends.
- To act in accordance with all Health & Safety policies and practices.

**Working with Others**:

- Daily liaison with the residents, Residence Managers and associated UPP staff.
- Possible liaison with specialist sub-contractors and the University Maintenance Section.
