**About the role**

We have an exciting opportunity for an Injury Claims Handler to join the Personal Injury Department in our Bristol office. You’ll join a thriving and vibrant team in a lively city centre office, with great transport links and onsite bike storage.

You’ll use your experience in either Motor or Casualty Claims to help customers with any third-party injury claims - taking them through the process, from initial claim through to settlement. You’ll engage with our customers, NFU Mutual Agents - who help ourcustomers in the local community - and a variety of third parties, to gather the necessary information you need to make fair decisions on our customers’ claims. We always look for ways to settle claims, this means less no and more yes, which makes workingin our team more satisfying and rewarding.

To help you become the best Injury Claims Handler you can be, we provide a comprehensive training programme in your first three months.

When the training is complete, we’ll provide a supportive learning environment so you can confidently start your Claims Handler journey. Your line manager will also support you to build a personal development plan which, if you choose to, will help you to gainthe skills you need to progress in your career at NFU Mutual.

We offer a 35-hour week with shift patterns running from Monday - Friday, between 8am - 6pm. You won’t be expected to work weekends or evenings and we offer a hybrid working model. We understand how important a positive work-life balance is to you, so we offergreat facilities when you want to be in the office and support you to work some of your hours from home when you’re up to speed.

**About you**

With a clear passion for delivering exceptional customer service, you use your fantastic listening skills and an empathetic nature to respond to the needs of the customer. Comfortable working at pace, you’re highly organised - with a mythological approachto tasks.
To join our team, you’ll also have:

- Experience in either Motor, Employers Liability or Public Liability Claims.
- The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the confidence to negotiate and challenge claims where necessary.
