**Attributes required at Supervisory level.**
- Possess good communication skills.

- Comfortable working outside in all weathers
- Horticulture knowledge is desirable.

**Responsibilities of a Supervisor (include but are not limited to)**
- Day to day leading and supervising of the team.
- Training and coaching staff to improve performance
- Agreeing task plan with both management and team
- Productivity and efficiency of the team.
- Safety of the team
- People/performance management and engagement.
- Ensuring tools and vehicles are both clean, safe, and serviceable
- Maintaining records and recording and reporting activity (movement, waste, potting, etc)
- Participate in training and endeavour to improve personal knowledge and skillset.
- As part of the Nursery Management team join in meetings to assist in the strategy implementation.
- Assisting all other departments as and when the workload or management see appropriate.

**Responsibilities specific to Production Supervisor**
- Monitor and evaluate crops development and growth and agree actions with the Production Manager
- Responsibility for designated area of the nursery, including

Watering, spacing, trimming, assisting despatch when required

Monitoring crops and P&D

Alerting management to crop status, saleability, problems, etc.
- Receiving potted product from the Potting Supervisor and team
- Working alongside the stock controller to ensure your area have an accurate database
- **General duties and expectations of all staff**
- H&S
- Co. rules
- Ambassador for BMN and BD
- Fidelity and loyalty
- Clean/Tidy/presentable/language

**Salary**: £25,500.00-£30,000.00 per year
