Bathroom Fitter/plumber

We are seeking an experienced, dedicated individual who will work hard to achieve the high-quality outcome desired on all tasks undertaken.
Responsibilities include, but are not defined by the following:
- Read and interpret drawings, designs and specifications to determine layout requirements and enable correct fitting
- Carry out the preparation and installation works relating to plumbing fittings as well as bathroom goods within a customer home setting
- Ensure the fitting and assembly of components is in accordance with current regulations
- Maintain accuracy and quality of finished installations at all times
- Conduct inspections to identify any defects or issues with the fitment and rectify where necessary
- Modify lengths of pipes, fixtures and other plumbing materials as and when needed whilst on the job
- Always conduct interactions with customers in a pleasant and appropriate manner
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time
Preferred Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience as a fitter or in a similar role is preferred
- Minimum 3 years plumbing experience
- Hold relevant plumbing qualifications
- Joinery, tiling and plastering experience is an advantage but not essential
- Working familiarity with plumbing materials and their appropriate use
- Knowledge of plumbing and mechanical systems
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools if or when required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as required
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to show initiative and work independently, as well as follow instructions and engage with other team members
General Information:
- Driver’s license required due to the change in job locations on a regular basis
- Willing to consider applicants who are self-employed contractors as well as those looking for an employed role.
- Start date immediate
- Permanent, Full time (40 hours Monday to Friday, overtime available)
