**Title: HGV Driver / LGV Cat C (Class 2) Driver**

**The Best Connection are currently seeking a class 2 driver for our client based in Folkestone**

The company itself specialise in removals and storage, offering a full range of professional removals and storage services for home and business.

Your typical day would involve commencing duties at 07:30 Monday
- Friday.

**The pay rates are**:
**Class 2 - £13.00 - £14.50**

**Duties**:

- You are required to behave in a polite and professional manner at all times in this customer-facing role and should have strong communication skills to talk with your customers and colleagues.
- You will be responsible for driving the vehicle and crew to the designated address, and supporting the Crew with removals duties, including packing, loading and unloading the vehicle.
- You will need to be physically fit in order to pack, carry, load/unload the vehicle and dismantle/reassemble furniture.
- It is essential that you are reliable, flexible and punctual as move day schedules are vital and can be stressful for the customer.
- Ensure your vehicle and trailer is kept in a safe, serviceable and clean condition
- Ensure all removals paperwork is completed correctly and submitted in a timely manner.
- lifting of heavy furniture and customers personal effects

**To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following**:

- UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 points)
- Category C entitlement (HGV Class 2)
- Valid CPC
- Positive attitude
- Reliability
- Flexibility
- Honesty
- Own transport
- High level of communication
- Keen eye to detail
