Our client Lloyds Banking Group is a leading UK based financial services group providing a wide range of banking and financial services, focused on personal and commercial customers. On behalf of Lloyds Banking Group, AMS are looking for a **Real Estate Financial Operations Coordinator** for a **12 month contract** based in **Edinburgh **hybrid 2 working days in the office and the rest at home.
The role sits within Citra Living Limited which is Lloyds Banking Group’s Private Rental Subsidiary. Its purpose is to Help Britain Prosper through improving access to good quality, affordable rental homes across the UK whilst delivering diverse and sustainable financial return to Group. The intention is to work with leading house builders, and other participants, through strategic partnerships to identify sites and support the building of additional housing, with Citra Living buying the rental element of these new developments and then letting the properties to customers.
As well as ensuring continued support for the house building sector this will also help to address the continued increase in demand for rental properties. The properties, which will be incremental stock to the UK, will provide modern, good quality homes to meet the demands of a growing rental market, and they will be within easy reach of local transport, amenities and leisure facilities.
You will be responsible for a broad spectrum of Finance Property Operational activities within a residential real estate environment together with the opportunity to evolve and influence the end-to-end process starting from the mobilisation of developments, onboarding of customers through to MI reporting.
**Responsibilities of the role**:
- Perform residential real estate related accounts payable and accounts receivable finance processes in MRI (Citra’s chosen property management software).
- Manage income and expense transactions for new/existing/renewing and exiting tenants.
- Processing Invoices, expenses and journals in core Finance systems and supporting with any queries that arise from this.
- Match invoices received to POs and input into MRI and other systems.
- Review and resolve any invoice exceptions in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Deal with supplier queries promptly when they arise.
- Carry out bank verification checks on new suppliers.
- Check payment request templates against the corresponding invoices.
- Prepare payment requests (CHAPS & BACS) and execute payments.
- Ensure BAU BACS controls are adhered to.
- Support the Finance Business Partner in Property Asset Level Financial Reporting and Performance.
- Analysis for both 3rd party and in-house house managed real estate assets.
- Property finance experience is essential from within a Residential Property Business such as a property management company or agency, social housing or wider Real Estate company or Group.
- Accounts Receivable and Payable experience is essential.
- The ability to work unsupervised and to tight timescales.
- Experience or ability to evolve and influence new financial processes.
- Willingness to challenge and try new ways of working.
- Good range of IT skills including proficient use of Microsoft Excel including the ability to perform v look ups and pivot tables.
- Ideally you will have some experience administering financial ledger and purchasing systems such as MRI Qube (preferred)/ARIBA/Oracle.
