Having proven experience as a Warehouse Supervisor or Depot Team Leader you will be used to the demanding work and fast paced environment. You will be looking to bring your hands-on supervisory expertise to ensure that the daily performance and service levelsof the warehouse and Depot are always achieved.
Joining at a time of growth, you will be proactive, able to add value in day-to-day improvements and efficiencies alongside your daily focus for; correct picking and dispatching of orders, stock management, smooth and timely serving of Trade Customers collectingmaterials, routing, transport and warehouse tidiness.
**Depot Supervisor Package**:
- Basic salary £33k per annum
- 45 hour working week (9 hour shifts between 6.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday)
- Holidays 20 days + BH (increasing to 24 days per annum with service)
- Pension, Parking onsite
**Depot Supervisor Role**:
- Day to day management and involvement in smooth and timely serving of trade customers collecting materials.
- Contribute to the warehouse management and efficiency of systems
- Stock control, stock rotation, stocking counting.
- Health and Safety, assisting with training.
- Inter-branch communication.
- Champion a stay safe culture with adherence to H&S procedures.
- Help as required with Routing / Transport.
**Essential Skills for the role of Depot Supervisor**:
- Experienced in a Warehouse / Depot Team Lead or Supervisory role
- Good understanding of warehousing, distribution systems & stock control
- Basic knowledge of Transport & Routing systems
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety
- Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills; naturally building trusted relationships
- Basic MS Office proficiency
- Ability to use the stock /order processing / ERP system
- Counterbalance Forklift experience
- Driving licence
**Highly Desirable**:
Knowledge of the Construction / Building Materials Industry
