**We have a fantastic opportunity for a Band 4 to join our team at Moorfields Eye Hospital, which is located on City Road, EC1V 2PD.**

**Location**:
Moorfield's Eye Hospital is in central London, which is easily accessible to get to by tube, bus and by train, Kings cross station and Euston station are all a short bus ride away If you are driving you are limited to parking around the hospital but there are some meter parking and privately operated car parks, so don’t you worry if you hold a blue badge or are driving a holder of a blue badge, you are able to park in the designated disabled bays just outside the hospital in City Road.

**Main Responsibility**
- Assist with the administration and upkeep of good governance for the quality and safety team. Patient safety, risk, incidents, clinical governance, compliance, and clinical audit are all examples of this.
- Collaborate closely with the quality and safety team, operational and management teams, and employees at all levels of the organisation; work individually, under supervision, and as part of a team.
- Collaborate closely with the head of quality and safety, the head of risk and safety, and the head of clinical governance in all aspects of quality and safety, as well as the quality and compliance manager, as needed.
- Work closely with clinical divisions and corporate teams to support safeguard initiatives across the enterprise, guided by the Safeguard and Learning Systems Co-ordinator.
- Collaborate with the clinical audit team to ensure auditors have enough health records to complete each project.
- Have strong communication skills across all levels and disciplines within the trust.
- Represent the quality and safety team in suitable forums (at any location), disseminating information both up and down the business.

**Experience**
- Previous experience of working in a team
- Previous experience of clerical work
- Computer based data entry experience
- Previous experience of electronic risk, incident and audit reporting systems, at an administrator level
- Experience of working within the NHS or a healthcare setting
- Experience handling confidential and sensitive information relating to both patients and staff and knowledge of information governance requirements and practices
- Experience of providing reports from electronic systems
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint
- Previous experience in being a member of a quality improvement project
