This is an exciting opportunity for an Automotive Trainer to join our team.
As an Automotive Trainer, you’ll play a part in keeping some of the UK’s biggest brands on the road, responsible for conducting a range of Technical and Engineering support tasks. This may include designing, installing, commissioning, and maintaining Refrigeration equipment. An Automotive Trainer is responsible for providing technical support, maintaining, and troubleshooting, implementing processes and new ways of working, as well as providing advice and guidance to our Mobile Refrigeration Engineers. They will also be involved in development of new products and services, and the implementation of working methods.
**What you’ll do**
- Design and develop technical solutions.
- Install and maintain technical systems.
- Perform system, equipment testing and troubleshooting.
- Provide technical support and technical analysis to both Engineers, Customer and Suppliers.
- Support all Engineer development requirements linked to internal and external training.
- Investigate and analyse warranty parts and return to supplier.
- Analyse downloads and fault find.
- Create, Manage, and train Safe ways of working and Risk Assessments.
- Deliver Engineer Vehicle consistency through compliance and inventory.
- Support all Health & Safety, Compliance requirements.
- Support business in the field though high peak period.
- Attend and support on customer review meetings.
**What you’ve got**
- City & Guilds/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair Principles or equivalent.
- F-Gas Certification
- IMI level 3 in Electric/Hybrid Vehicle System Repair and Replacement
- Refrigeration product knowledge.
- Must have strong service & repair experience in Refrigeration.
- A knowledge of Engineering principles.
- Excellent customer service mindset.
- Great communication skills.
- Ability to work quickly and effectively.
- Ability to troubleshoot.
- Analytical thinking.
- Proficient fault finding/diagnostic skills.
- Must be hardworking and self-motivated and be able to collaborate.
- Computer literate and able to operate Windows based programs.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Driving licence.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
