Biggar Medical Practice are seeking an enthusiastic colleague to be responsible for the summarising of all incoming patient medical records in our friendly surgery. The successful applicant willideally have an excellent knowledge of medical terminology and the ability to work autonomously as well as part of our skilled patient advisor team. Previous experience in the use of EMIS and Docman would be advantageous. The post will be for an initial period of 3 months. Hours and days are negotiable.
The key responsibilities of the role are:
- Reviewing medical records and producing an accurate summary of the patient's medical history
- Ensuring medical records are read and coded accurately onto the clinical system
**Job Types**: Part-time, Temporary contract
**Salary**: From £11.51 per hour
