Across articles, reports, and live events, we curate the very best practical tips and expert thinking from sponsorship leaders, academics, and industry disruptors.

We have ambitious plans to grow the business on all fronts and are looking for a Sponsorship Reporter ready to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in

As Sponsorship Reporter, you will be responsible for researching, writing, and publishing engaging articles for an audience of marketing leaders.

This role involves covering the latest sponsorship marketing news, sponsor activity at major events and interviewing senior sponsorship leaders.

You will need to be able to think independently and creatively, coming up with new ideas to keep readers engaged. Working together with the Content Marketing Manager, your goal will be to maximise article views and website visits.

**Responsibilities**
- Researching and interviewing industry leaders to create articles you will write and publish on the magazine website.
- Contacting the sponsors of major sporting events to understand and report on their sponsorship activity.
- Keeping your finger on the pulse of the latest sponsorship news.
- Maintaining an editorial pipeline of forward features.
- Uploading at least 5 articles per week on The Sponsor website.
- Sourcing one guest per month to appear on The Sponsor’s podcast.
- Attending industry events and building connections.

**Skills and Experience**
- Razor-sharp writing skills to ensure all content is of the highest quality and accuracy.
- Comfortable speaking to senior business leaders face to face and on the phone.
- A nose for spotting an insightful news story and a clear understanding of the kind of content that will help grow traffic and drive engagement.
- Solid knowledge of SEO.
- Good command of forward planning and researching relevant stories.
- The ability to attend events and build exceptional contacts within the sponsorship industry.
- Experience writing for a publication or blog.
- Experience publishing content on Word Press.
