Phlebotomist

Job Title: Phlebotomist

Monday - Wednesday 08.00a.m - 13.30p.m

**Responsibilities**:

- Perform venipuncture and collect blood specimens from patients
- Verify patient information and ensure proper labeling of samples
- Prepare samples for laboratory testing and transport them to the appropriate department
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Follow all safety protocols and infection control procedures
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed

Qualifications:

- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program
- Current certification as a phlebotomist (e.g., CPT, PBT)
- Proficient in venipuncture techniques and blood collection procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and laboratory testing processes
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to accurately record patient information
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Note: Previous experience working as a phlebotomist is required.

**Salary**: £10.42-£11.42 per hour

- Monday to Friday

- Harrold: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- Phlebotomy: 1 year (preferred)
