Sign Fabricator

A well established Sign company based in the North East (just outside of Sunderland) is looking to add to it’s growing production team with a number of roles including the following:
An Experienced Fabricator

CNC Operator

Sign Maker (using acrylic)

Our client has built up an impressive client base over the years and has been providing signage all across the globe for almost 3 decades.

Essential skills (Fabricator):

- Previous metal fabrication experience (stainless steel, Brass, Aluminium, Copper)
- Excellent Metal working skills.
- Ensure standards of good housekeeping are achieved in all work areas.

Essential skills (CNC Operator):

- Be confident cutting signage materials and making new sign systems
- Monitoring and maintaining sheet material stock levels.
- Working to production schedule
- Inspecting cut parts conform to drawings and fall within size and finish standards.
- Working with the operations team for continual improvement of product and workflow

Essential Skills (Sign Maker):

- Assembling signs using various materials including acrylics
- Accurately follow construction drawings and job sheets, ensuring manufactured products meets the business and clients specifications and brief.
- Checking and wiring up signage items following clear guidelines.

Salary varies from £13 ph - £17 ph depending on role and experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £13.00-£17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

**Experience**:

- signage/fabrication: 2 years (preferred)
