**Mobile Catering Assistant**

**Location**:Peterborough

**Salary**: Pathway 1 Point 1-3, £11,582.02 - £11,898.75 per annum (FTE £20,258- £20,812)

**Job Type**:Fixed Term, 6-month Contract (January - July 2023) 25 weeks per annum, Term time only

**The Role**

You will be responsible for ensuring a high level of cleanliness, food hygiene and health and safety are met and maintained. Most importantly, you will be the face of the academy’s kitchen, promoting a positive and friendly atmosphere and a warm welcometo all students, staff and visitors.

**Qualifications/Skills**
- Have basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene and food preparation skills.
- Have a basic level of cooking skills.
- Be able to work both as part of a team and individually.
- Be able to build relationships with young people and adults alike.
- Have experience working in a fast-paced catering environment.
- Have a basic knowledge of general kitchen duties within a busy school kitchen environment.
