Seasonal Gardeners

At Stewarts, landscaping is a very important part of our business. We carry out routine maintenance of grounds and gardens for both private and commercial clients across Dorset and Hampshire. We carry out work to an excellent standard which plays a big part in making the job rewarding and we are constantly on the lookout for knowledgeable, enthusiastic individuals to join our team.

We are currently seeking **seasonal gardeners** to join us from **April to October**.

**Hours are flexible **(full time and part time considered)

We have two seasonal roles available;
**GARDENER**: This role includes caring for commercial grounds and private gardens. Excellent practical experience with regards to mowing, strimming, hedge cutting, hoeing, litter picking etc. are required as well as a good knowledge of plants, including being able to recognise them, how to care for them and when to prune. Applicants must be competent with the operation and basic maintenance of garden machinery.

**PLANTSMAN GARDENER**: In addition to the skills above, an excellent knowledge of a wide range of plants is required for this role. There is a requirement to care for more complicated grounds/gardens and this is where your talents are needed. Many have a wide variety of herbaceous perennials, grasses, roses, climbers and shrubs and we need someone who can demonstrate excellent horticultural practices and specific pruning requirements.
