**Perm Role, £13.50-£15p/hr DOE, 40hrs per week, Mon-Fri, 25 days holiday**

Interaction Recruitment are recruiting an experienced CNC Turner with knowledge of Manual Turning, to work on behalf of their client, a Precision Engineering and Manufacturing firm based in Yeadon, Leeds.
- Experienced with XYZ Proturn for an SLX425 Lathe
- Manual Turning - a reasonable skill base in this is essential to the role
- Surface Grinding knowledge is desirable
- Welding knowledge would be beneficial to the role
- Knowledge of machining Stainless and Mild Steel, Aluminium, Brass, Copper, Bronze & Plastic
- Machining bespoke small to medium batch size components
- Ability to use measuring equipment such as Verniers and Micrometres

Day to day duties of this role include:

- Programming, setting and operating CNC’s to produce accurate, quality components on time
- Manual Turning
- Effective and efficient use of all materials and tooling
- Managing your work schedule
- Self inspecting all manufactured components
- Adhering to all Quality and H&S Standards

You will be contracted to 40hrs per week working Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4.30pm with an 11am finish on a Friday. The Pay Rate for the role is experience dependant ranging from £13.50p/hr up to £15p/hr. Overtime may be required at times but is notguaranteed.
