We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor/Team Leader to join our team based in Milton Keynes.
- Responsible for warehouse operations.
- Correctly picking, packing, packaging labels and shipping.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, by hand or with a forklift truck.
- Ensuring all deliveries are picked and packed correctly.
- Dealing with picking/packing/despatch issues internally and set countermeasures to avoid reoccurrence.
- Ensure that goods received matches the delivery note (unload, label & store) and must be put away ASAP in the correct bin-bay location.
- Always being aware of possible stock shortages and informing the managers so that they can be ordered
- Ensure accuracy of stock levels and perform inventory controls.
- Pallet movements - in/out to picking locations.
- Replenishing all picking locations.
- Ensure that stock is labelled and stored correctly.
- Delivery to depots/customers.
- Keep the workplace tidy and safe.
- Carry out general warehouse duties.
- Operate and maintain warehouse vehicles, equipment, and other company vehicles
- Ensuring Health & Safety is always at the forefront.
- Dealing with warehouse operative queries.
- Encourage and motivate the warehouse team to carry out their tasks effectively and to the highest standard.

The ideal warehouse supervisor will hold the following skills and experiences:

- Must have a driving license and forklift truck license
- Experience in using FLT to load/offload lorries.
- English and Mathematical skills, both written and verbal, to be able to execute day-to-day duties without assistance.
- Good communication skills.
- Physically fit - able to lift
- Efficient time management
- Must be a team player and able to use a computer.
- Flexible attitude to work
