Housekeeping Assistant

**About The Role**

Phoenix is a family-run, professional cleaning and facilities management company. We need a diligent and detail-oriented male Housekeeper to join our team on a permanent, part-time basis. Phoenix are expanding, and overtime is regularly available.

Located in **Burton-on-Trent (DE14 3DP)**, our client is all about lifestyle. It’s a place for members to workout, relax, re-energise, and socialise. More than just a gym, our client has stunning views over the golf course, an extensive class timetable, an outdoor and outdoor spa area, and much more.

As a male housekeeper, you’re important for the upkeep of the spa. You’ll maintain cleaning standards in the male section of the showers, changing rooms, and toilets, as well as the communal pool, sauna, and spa areas. Weekend evenings include cleaning the restaurant.

Experience is preferred but is not essential. We give all new team members full training, and we’ll support you while you settle into your new role.

**Working pattern**

Role 1: Monday, Tuesday 10:00-14:00, Friday 16.00-18.00 Saturday and Sunday 20.00-23.00 (16 Hours per week)

**Rate of pay**

£10.42 p/h, and £11.00 p/h after 20:00.

**Main duties**

As a Housekeeper, you are crucial in ensuring the upkeep of the spa's clean and relaxing environment. This includes:

- Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors
- Dust control in all areas
- Cleaning mirrors and glass
- Disposal of litter
- Sanitising all sanitaryware
- Replenishing soaps, toilet rolls, and hand towels[MR1]

- Able to following training on hygiene procedures and instructions on the use of chemicals
- Able to get to the site, and be able to work the required times
