Are you a talented and dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) seeking an exciting opportunity to work in primary schools within the LS15 area of Leeds? As a HLTA, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher and helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment for the students. You will have the opportunity to work closely with a class, providing academic support to ensure their overall development and progress.

**Responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with the classroom teacher to plan and deliver lessons in accordance with the curriculum.
- Support the teacher in managing the classroom, maintaining discipline, and ensuring a safe learning environment.
- Provide one-on-one and small group support to students, delivering targeted interventions to help them achieve their learning goals.
- Assist in assessing student progress, recording observations, and providing feedback to the teacher.
- Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, promoting effective communication and collaboration.

**Requirements**:

- HLTA qualification or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience working within a primary school setting.
- Sound knowledge of the national curriculum and teaching methods.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
