**The role of Nursery Practitioner is ideal if you**:

- Want to work in a successful childcare service with a quality team and supportive management, rated as good by Ofsted
- Want to take your career further with amazing development opportunities, including internal training days, local authority training, courses through the national college's scheme, seminars & webinars, and 1-1’s to help grow your skills & build your resume

**Day-to-day you will be responsible for**:

- Assisting in the day-to-day operations of the nursery and ensuring a high standard of care is provided
- Showing genuine care for the children and contributing to the planning and development of activities
- Creating an educationally stimulating environment in accordance with Every Child Matters and the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework
- Maintaining an interest in our children & families, being aware of any additional needs, family cultural requirements and medical histories
- Maintaining records as required by Ofsted Registration

- You have built trusting relationships with our children, families & other members of staff
- You have helped deliver our nursery ethos and provided the highest standards of care
- You have been adaptable and able to work autonomously

- Hold a recognised Childcare qualification
- Show initiative and be able to work proactively
- Be excited to bring fresh ideas to the table and try new ways of working
- Be able to challenge practices and work with managers to help us to constantly improve our service
