Cash Counting Assistant

Carvery and Grill Ltd is a family run company who provide food outlets at various tourist destinations and large events around the country. Our office team coordinates the health and safety, food safety, accounts and administration of the C&G catering group.

We are looking for an experienced office and counting assistant to join this team. Your position will include counting various amounts of cash and card receipts daily, reconciling amounts with Z reports and investigating any discrepancies. You will also be responsible for preparing money for the bank and recording takings on spreadsheets for management to analyse daily to enable smooth running of the business. The role includes answering telephone in a timely professional manner and face to face enquiries during events at all times representing Carvery and Grill with a positive, can-do attitude. You will also be required to undertake general office administration, including photocopying, printing, scanning and maintenance of archives.

This role is predominantly cash handling. Speed, accuracy and attention to detail is imperative and must be maintained when under pressure. Experience with handling and counting bulk cash and change is a requirement for this role, as well as experience within an office environment. Good IT and Microsoft skills are important for this role, as well as a flexible and open attitude towards all aspects of the business.

The hours for this role are flexible, they can be made up either in 2 full days or 3 mornings.

Pay: £10.50-£12.50 per hour
