Edwards And Ward are currently recruiting for a General Catering Assistant.

16.25 Hours per week.

Working 38.6 weeks plus 4.16 weeks holiday pay

10.45 am to 2.00pm Monday to Friday term time only

Previous catering experience preferred but ability to learn, be flexible and be part of a great team working in a kitchen environment is essential.

The main areas of the role are:

- Prepare food and set up counters to the standard laid down by the management.
- Serve all food and beverages at the specified times and in appropriate quantities.
- Ensure sound knowledge of the food to be served daily, together with the appropriate portion sizes.
- To comply with the daily cleaning schedule.
- To assist with all aspects of food preparation.
- Maintain Health & Safety and Hygiene standards following the current legislation and company and site policy and procedure
- Ensure that personal appearance and personal hygiene & basic food hygiene, including uniform and footwear in line with Edwards and Ward Company Policy.
- To adhere to Client and Company policy and guidelines with regard child safeguarding.

Part-time hours: 16.25 hours per week
