Killamarsh Parish Council has a fantastic opportunity for a Caretaker /Cleaner to join its friendly and community focused team.

Working Arrangement: There will be a requirement to work evenings and weekends and a flexible approach to meet the demands of the business will be required. You will be based at the newly refurbished Parish Suite, as part of a small and friendly team. The role will provide access to the Local Government Pension Scheme.

Main purpose of the Job: Ensuring that Killamarsh Parish Suite is a clean and tidy facility, undertake maintenance duties, gardening duties and ensuring the safety and supervision of users. The Caretaker will become a trusted ‘Key Holder’ for the Parish Suite, and this will involve call out in the event of the alarm being triggered. We are looking for someone who works well with others, as well as being able to work independently, take ownership of tasks and complete them to a high standard. The role will be based out in the community, so you need to be public focused and able to always represent the Parish Council in a professional manner. A uniform and personal protective equipment will be provided.
